Dear Muslim Friends,

I know it must be so hard for you to understand what Christians (I much prefer the term “followers of Jesus”) believe – and why in the world they believe it.

Why do followers of Jesus talk so much about him?

Why are true followers of Jesus so willing to obey him?

Why have followers of Jesus gone to every corner of the earth to tell people about him?

Why do they give heart and soul to translate his words into the language of every people group?

Why have followers of Jesus been willing to pay any price – and not consider it a sacrifice – to take the Good News of Jesus to the ends of the earth?

Why so many martyrs for him – from the first century until now?

Why do they love Jesus so much?

Why?

The answer to all these questions is simple.

Followers of Jesus believe he gave everything for them – even his own life – on a cross. . .to save them from the rightful penalty of their sins.

All for love.

He gave it all for love.

We love Jesus because. . .he first loved us.

He gave it all.

All for love.

This is our message.

For all people.

For the whole world.

For you.
