There are some days I just want to thank God. To praise Him.
All. . .day. . .long.
Today is one of those days.
I have made requests of Him today and will continue to but mostly. . .
I just want to thank Him.
I thank God today. . .
for a great wife
for wonderful sons, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren
for physical health
for mental health
for friends – everywhere
here where I live and all over the U.S.
in the Middle East
for Muslim friends
for Christian friends
for a work that I love
talking to Muslims about Jesus – what we have in common and what we don’t
talking to churches about Muslims – helping them gain God’s heart for Muslim people
for travel to many cities
building bridges
bridging gaps
tearing down walls
destroying stereotypes.
I am so blessed.
God is so good to me.
More than I deserve. So much more.
How about you, my Muslim friends?
Do you ever just want to thank Allah? All day long?
“I will proclaim your justice, and I will praise you all day long” (The Zabur, Psalm 35:28, NLT).
“O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name” (The Zabur, Psalm 44:8, NLT)
“That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long” (The Zabur, Psalm 71:8, NLT).
I am thankful that God comes to us in unexpected ways and speaks to us when we listen to His voice. I am thankful that God’s thoughts are so many and so very good towards us!!
Every blessing,
Mert
Mert, you have taught me a great deal about thanking God in all circumstances. Your life is a testimony of praise to God in hard, painful, confusing times. God bless you as you keep praising Him who alone is worthy!
