Ya Allah! Draw Me Close To You. I Want To Be Your Friend!

Just a short, simple prayer today to Almighty God. . .

“Ya Allah! Draw me close to You. Like Abraham, I want to be Your friend!”

“For God did take Abraham for a friend” (The Qur’an, Surah 4.125)
“. . .Abraham, My friend” (The Bible, lsaiah 41.8)
“And the scripture was fulfilled that says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,’ and he was called God’s friend” (The Bible, James 2:23)

Khalilullah – what a name! What an amazing thing – being so close to God that He calls you His friend!
