Ya Allah, We Are Bonded Together!

Dear Muslim Friends,

I know that music is not part of worship for you as Muslims, but for us as Christians, it is more than just permissible, it is commanded. Why? Because it glorifies God and it changes us.

This morning I was praying and listening to songs of worship to Almighty God. I heard again an old song that made my cry – not in sadness, but in joy. It is a song that expresses my love for God – because of His overwhelming, incomprehensible, never ending, unconditional love for me! I cry out, “O God, we are bonded together!” (“Ya Allah” – in Arabic يا ألله – literally meaning “O God”)

This song – “Bonded Together” – speaks of incredible closeness to God. It speaks of incredible relationship with Him.

Oh, how I love God! How I praise Him today! You see, my earthly father left my mother, my sister, and. . .me. But God? He has promised to never leave me. Never!

I serve Him because I love Him. There is no one like Him!

We are truly. . .bonded together.

This. . .is His unbreakable promise.
